Full Moon over Chania
At dusk the sky opened up after a day of rainshowers, no heavy rain, but a steady rainfall and a most grey day with the mountains in the distance covered by a thick layer of black and grey clouds; bringing snow onto the mountains... that showed at dusk too.
I made my walk at dusk and enjoyed the light and colors of that hour ~ now it's 9-ish and it rains again.
Like most Greeks here, Sweetheart is busy with collecting his papers for the tax declaration, what must be done before the end of this month.
Tax regulations have changed and people feel mangled by the many rules, Sweetheart included. Him and many of his peers don't like to do all digitally and they're lucky (I believe) that much can be done still in person at the local office(s)... so I drive him here and there and he's happy I'm here and can help him as such and with organising his papers.
Thank you all lots for your reactions of recent! Much appreciated!
And please stay safe from the hidious virus that goes wild around the world... take a jab if you can.
I haven't heard news about my friend Manolis, but the media here mentioned symptoms triggered by the Omikron variant... kidney troubles, heart troubles and lung troubles... UH?! precisely the organs that are severely affected in Manolis... I will learn later what caused his critical disease.
N.B. Saturday eve now and just received SMS from Manolis wife that he suffers from a most rare 'Auto-immune disease" what's named " Goodpasture syndrome" and affects indeed those organs: kidneys, heart and lungs.. with medication and blooddialyses he may survive and live a few more years - Wikipedia says
