A Life Well Lived

Today Droog and I attended the funeral of Colonel Alan Roberts, soldier, renowned maxillo-facial surgeon, former Deputy Lieutenant of West Yorkshire, Pro-Chancellor of the University of Leeds, ADC to The Queen and talented silversmith. He was a wonderful person and we feel honoured to have been able to count him as a friend. We shall miss his generosity, humanity and keen sense of humour.
