Stepping out

Once upon a time, two years ago, the week before Christmas would have been taken up with Christmas parties and shopping.


Today its more long walks in the fresh air  like  this afternoon  when  I passed this young rider  heading for Sheriffmuir.
 
The speed at which the omicron virus is spreading is causing some of us to revert to lockdown mode.
 
Two days ago I walked into our local post office and queued for twenty minutes.  Today M was the only customer apart from a young man not wearing a mask and coughing.
M says he held his breath and got out fast.
