Nutcracker

Down to Stockbridge this morning; the butcher, the fishmonger and the pop-up Christmas tree seller. The meat’s in the freezer, the fish will be collected next week and the Noble Fir is sitting in a bucket of water behind the stair door. So that’s a few things ticked off my list, plenty more to do.
The living-room mantelpiece is now decorated and the nutcracker is unboxed and dusted off for a short festive visit. Hope he appreciates having pride of place.
No pub tonight so we had a good old chat with the Arnies instead. Always great to catch up!
