Last legs

Spent an hour or so on the phone with tech support today, this laptop is so slow it would be quicker to use stone tablets and a chisel.

At the end of it, he told me that the hard drive was on its last legs and needed to be replaced. 
I'm not doing that, the machine is 10 years old or so and I only need it one day a week at most.
So I'll soldier on with it till it draws its last breath and then put it out of its misery.

Ah well...
