Who says cats don’t smile?

Jasper loves Joan and Joan loves Jasper. We had a three birthday dinner at Joan and Marv’s house this evening. Shelly, Marv and Corinne all had birthdays this week. Dinner was delicious and talk was playful and fun. Joan and Marv have two ragdoll cats, both boys. Jasper is the lover. Motek is more stand offish. I like them both and am one of the lucky few that Motek will allow to pet him. He’s huge and soft, not unlike Cory.

Earlier in the day my lady painters’ book club met for our monthly lunch and book discussion. We spoke briefly about the book and talked lengthily about many other subjects. Since Covid, getting together live has become so special. It’s the same with our dinner friends this evening. Amazing how much friends make life happier and richer.
