Blipped these often before, but I really like this sculpture, the way the legion appear to be climbing over the hill, the haughty looks of the ones with the handlebar moustaches, the slightly goofy ones in front , their attention towards the centurion and how they are made out of railway refuse.

Date day to day, so the Prof and I did a bit of business then walked on the cycle track in glorious sunshine. He said the clouds looked like the ones on the Simpsons, and they certainly had the look of clouds from a child's picture book. In the afternoon we worked flat out on maintenance and gardening tasks.

Had a lovely call from my son and heir. He started a new job yesterday. He really deserved this break and I am so proud of him.
