Football match called off

The under fourteen Espadrille League match between between Invernessie Monstors and Portmahomack Cabertossers was called off at 2pm, by referee Aonghus MacAlphabet, due to an enveloping  mist. A crowd of twenty three souls departed the scene amid some rancour,and muttering. An instance of profanity has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
"These remarks were a disgrace," said a spokesperson for Heilan Polis.
