The lentil jar

I like a mix of lentils when I'm cooking with dried ones. Much of the fun is mixing them in the storage jar. Which I was about to do when taking this picture.

I feel as if you can combine the silky smooth qualities of some lentils with the earthy body of others and the melty slipperyness of still others if you do this. But that's probably just me being a bit mad.
