Memory Trees and light trails

I've been asked to see if we can get an image of the memory trees in the churchyard, taken from the tower, before the battery operated lights expire.

Thought I should go for a look this afternoon at ground level and see what exposure might be needed.  The memory trees are part of the Christmas Tree trail but each one is for someone lost to their family.  They have simple white lights and a note to show who they are meant to remember.

While I was there a few of the images have caught light trails from the road - so one of those is my blip.

Alternatively - padding about a churchyard, in the near dark with a DSLR on a tripod does sound quite silly Saturday?
