Another false dawn...

This was the state of play in the second Ashes test when I stumbled out of bed at around 6am. Naturally during the second and third sessions of the day England contrived to collapse like a drunken teenager and now see almost certain to lose the match. After more than 50 years I can't pretend to be surprised at this state of affairs but I am still disappointed.
