Family

It was a treat to have my son visit from Christchurch in the South Island for a busy 36 hours . He spent yesterday taking his Dad out to visit old friends from our farming days and then after retuning to us , helped Dr D fell an old photinia that was on its last legs. A strong wind blowing so David was up the tree a few times attaching a rope to guide the fall while Dr D was on the chainsaw. All rubbish now on the truck and ready for the green waste depot and David landing in Christchurch at this minute rejoining his wife and family. They head off to the Marlborough Sounds for 3 weeks at their bach  on Boxing Day. Peace and the beautiful New Zealand bush in their bay which is only accessible by boat.
