Sort Of Festive

Kes is perched at the top of a Christmas tree on the bank of the lake and the eucalyptus on the island has flowers that look a bit like snowflakes.

I knew Kes was around because I could hear him calling. He had an altercation by the Leylandii hedge then swooped over my head as I was walking in our field and landed in the Christmas tree. I haven't seen the eucalyptus flowers up close as the tree is inaccessible on the island. I didn't realise that they are so pretty.
