River memorial

I was hoping to photograph the Great Crested Grebe that I saw on the river last week but he wasn't around.
This plaque has been put on a tree by the water in the last week, it reads:
Andy Gumpy Platt
Gone Fishing
1979-2010

What a nice way to be remembered in what was presumably one of his favourite places. I didn't know him but RIP Andy.
