Number Five

Christmas Event #5, the Falmouth Royal Naval Association Christmas Raffle & Social.
With both Mrs S and Mini Mrs S working Paddy and I were left to our own devices. This usually involves a leisurely breakfast of kippers and a cafetière of coffee and today proved no different.
As he was likely to get only one walk today we set off on our five miler route, crisp was the way I think we would describe the weather.

Once Mini Mrs S arrived home I set off for an evening was to be spent largely listening to names and numbers being called out. I enjoyed it though, Mrs S and I were the recipients of around a dozen or so cards and won half a dozen bottles of wine, a box of wine and cherries in kirsch.
I retired to the bar afterwards pondering the fact that having got the Christmas Raffle & Social out of the way I have around one of everything left before I step down.
Now I have made the decision I am quite looking forward to it.
