Looking like Christmas ...

No, your eyes haven't gone funny, nor have mine, at least I hope so. This is our Christmas tree in the living room as seen through the glass partition in the hall. The pattern in the glass makes for the blurry bokeh tree. This to introduce this coming Thursday's optional Abstract Thursday theme, another basic element of Abstract Photography is making the image through something like glass, plastic or any other transparent material or using reflections or refractions on shiny materials to make something abstract of a photo subject, to create an impression of your subject. In the last week of December we'll go into actual editing, but for this week please try actual tangible filters or aids if you can. So the optional theme for this coming Thursday is 'using tangible visible aids'. The tag will be AT339.
