An African Angel

A few years ago my eldest daughter Charis worked on the mission field in the town of Jos in Nigeria. There she tended to the needs of the street boys, destitute orphans who knew almost nothing except lives of petty crime and living by their wits. The mission brought to them the message of the Gospel and of course that of Christmas. This "angel" and others like it was made of copper wire, by the boys in their workshops and I bought a few in order to support the work. They have become regular Christmas visitors, adorning the walls among all the less worthy stuff.
