Almost sunset just before 4pm

It was quite a nice day today, but I didn't really venture outdoors apart from getting into the car to take the grandchildren home.  E loves to bake and wanted to make some caramel shortbread as presents for her school friends.  We made a different variety using sea salt to sprinkle on the caramel and C's Winter mint crisp milk chocolate for the topping.  I wasn't sure it was going to work.  I'm always disappointed with salted caramel flavouring, but this was delicious as you can really taste the salt.  Luckily E is giving it to her friends so I only had two squares. I don't usually see the sunset as I live at the bottom of a hill, but was able to blip this scene just before dark. Caramel shortcake in extra.
