Road house

You see these buildings all over Italy. They were built to house road maintenance equipment. This one is above Caiano where we went for a walk in the late afternoon sun.

We’ve been very lucky with this high pressure system. In northern Italy there is terrible fog and smog in Milan. It looks like the weather will go downhill towards Christmas but it has been a real uplift to have sun and crisp clear weather and snow to visit above 1000 metres.

20 known Omicron cases in Tuscany, all in isolation but who knows what the real situation is. The next few days might give us a better idea.
