Moonset
over the bay of Wharfedale
I had a better feeling about the fog this morning and was well rewarded for the cold early start. There was a heavy frost on the moor, which had clearly been exposed to the clear air all night long. Once above the mist, the visibility was astonishing.
I met a fellow blipper at the top cairn in the process of taking her blip for the day. We only chatted away for a minute before another appeared. It was wonderful to be able to formally introduce two very special friends of mine. I also got to see the brocken spectre whisperer in action, performing her unique magic. I don't know how she does it!
