Rose from Heaven

The cheesy name for our delicious cake! It's a gluten-free nutty gateau, with white chocolate ganache and rose icing.

It was the campus olympics today, and part of it was a baking competition. We did very well, but a brownie won! So typical. Our's is completely original so it should have been us! Oh well - it was so much fun to make. This made for a really great day, and i got to spend the day with people I don't normally see :)

I'll post the recipe in due course!

P.S. They're real rose petals, and I learnt to make a marzipan rose today!
