Wow, thanks!

I am completely overwhelmed by the amount of love and support I received yesterday for my 11th year anniversary on Blipfoto. I’ve always thought that those are the kinds of things that happened to other people, not me. So thank you for making me feel special, one day after another.

I attended my second, and last, church group Christmas party this afternoon. It was a lot more enjoyable than the previous one. This one was in a private residence and the other a restaurant. It was much more relaxed and people could move around and chat.

The picture is one of my friend Marilyn. I know she frequently follows my journal and is fond of my photography. We did a gift exchange and she selected the photograph I prepared. Her expression is kind of an admiring stunned look. The twist on the gift exchange was that you choose to keep the one you got or swap for one that had already been chosen. Mine was pretty popular and was swapped several times. In the end, Marilyn didn’t end up with it, but I will frame one especially for her.

Dentist, housecleaning and mono Monday tomorrow. Depending on how you look at it, a fun filled day.

My friend called a few painters to his house to do some work. He wanted them to paint his porch. After a few hours, the painters came back for payment since the work was complete. They told him that they had enjoyed painting his car, but it was not really a Porsche.
