Forest Track , Argyll

There are hundreds, in fact  thousands, of miles of such tracks across Argyll .   In this forest the trees on the left were harvested some years ago, but the ones on the right have still to be taken out.   When they are the track will be repaired to allow the timber to be removed, and new trees to be planted.   The it will slowly deteriorate until the next time it is needed.
