The De Rosset House

Decided to head downtown to a slightly nicer dinner destination, but not this place. This 1841 mansion houses the City Club which is unlikely to welcome the likes of us. A strong indicator being the high wall, (cropped out because it wasn’t very interesting) a significant deterrent to all but the most nimble of the unworthy. We ate in an equally old building a couple of blocks away and had a nice meal and a decent bottle of plonk.
