The Mope

Feeling crap following the booster shot, so I did what any normal person would do and put my Hamilton beanie on, took a selfie of me looking sorry for myself in it and wrote a few lines which popped into my head.

I would hope

That I could cope
If I were ever really ill

Pop a pill
A drink taken hot
Is sure to hit the spot

A nurse to tend to brow
Would be welcome how
But if the going gets too tough
Once calm waters turned to rough

Abandon all hope
For this malingering mope
Who is nought but a shill
No chance for him to cope
With being really ill
