Camel

We bought this little leather camel when we were on a pilgrimage in Israel many years ago, so we always get out at Christmas and put it under the Christmas tree to remind us of the first Christmas!! We were having an evening meal just as it was getting dark, and this little lad came up and offered to sell us the camel. Someone from a nearby table said, Yes she would have it - so we felt relieved we were not being pressured to buy it!! We felt a bit mean, but within ten seconds the lad had run away, and appeared again almost immediately with another identical camel…. So we had to buy it, and we get it out every Christmas and put it under the Christmas tree!!
