Sardines

A pattern shot, with a bit of texture. Dried reeds all squashed up in one corner by wind and waves. I thought they make quite an interesting shot. Predominantly vertical lines, but just enough variation with the diagonals and a triangle of open water to provide a contrasting element.

I find the variety of shapes, size, markings and colour quite fascinating. There was a bit of sunshine to bring out the colours and texture.

Extra: Wee Tim'rous Beastie. A Dad's Army reference. Not quite sure what sort of beastie though.
