Under The Stairs

Our current home improvement project!  I'd always wanted to repaint this area, but something always got in the way.  The idea now is to finish it before the New Year and get it out of the way.  You can see the supports for the planks.  AW thought he'd unscrew them and then quickly realized that the wall wasn't going to cooperate, so we decided they are better left untouched.  I have started the paint work, AW helping as well.  Looking up is fine with me but bending down too long gives me vertigo, so AW helped with the parts nearest the floor.  We finished the leftover paint of last time but now need to order a new bucket, and the store where the prices are the most reasonable isn't accepting online orders until Wednesday, so it'll be a short wait.  Non-essential shops are shut, according to the current lockdown rules, and hardware shops fall under that category.

Another grey day.  Not wet, thankfully, but quite, quite cold.  It went as it usually does these days, with AW's Monday bridge online capping his evening, and a few abdomen lectures polishing off mine.
