Really Hot.

Too hot to even want to go outside.

But I smothered the girls in sun cream, and they played in the pool for ages.  Until the ground started to look like a mud bath.

We then made loads of Christmas cards.  Isabella impressed with doing all the writing on her own.  She didn't even ask me how to spell anything.

Mia was happy just to spell her name.  They spent ages colouring the cards in and putting stickers on them.

We eventually made it to the park, just before 4pm.  It was fine as long as you stayed in the shade.
