Blue Hamish

It's always worth ......

leaving the main streets in town and searching the back streets for somewhere to eat.

That's what we did in Cambridge today and we discovered a delightful pub that did a 2 course prix fixed menu for £12.95 and it didn't dissapoint. I had whitebait followed by chicken in a paprika flavoured crust served with hand cut chips and courgette fritters. The waitress told us that it was for a big appetite and she wasn't wrong. Rachel chose a desert over a starter and opted for creme brulee. Well it was easily the largest creme brulee I've ever seen, and was served in a large teacup. Rachel picked the cup up and seemed to be almost shoveling the creme brulee into her mouth!
