Evening reflections, Olton Mere

The sun was still out today, but the wind was freezing. I dragged the kids around the Mere with the dog - they were remarkably cheerful considering the windchill factor. Some of the daffodils are finally out, as are a few crocuses - but everything else plant wise is still firmly in winter mode. The swans seem to have moved on to pastures new after a few days' stopover.
