Dove

Another emergency Blip at the end of a busy day though, looking back, I'd be hard pressed to tell you exactly what I was busy with! The day seemed to pass in a blur! Pre-Christmas preparations mostly. Still lots of dust to remove (hopefully MrM has finished the very messy DIY stuff in the bedroom now...), and things to move around in order to accommodate our Christmas guests... assuming they can come. There was a Cabinet meeting today (or should that be Cabernet meeting, given further revelations of Conservative parties during lockdowns), but no decisions were made about further measures to halt the relentless spread of Omicron. But there may still be the need for measures before Christmas. When we need a capable leader, we're stuck with a PM incapable of making decisions, and swayed by back-bench bullies.

OK, rant over. The dove was shabby-chic when I bought it about 15 years ago, and it's shabbier and not so chic now, but I'm very fond of it all the same. It's one of a pair, and they come out every Christmas.
