T minus four to Christmas

E had croup overnight, so J and A took him for yet another swab* today, while I hung out with S for his multiple appointments.
They waited two hours in car for swab, even though they got to testing centre before 8am. Luckily I am the master of ensuring adequate books/toys/food/drinks/changes of clothes/kitchen sinks are in car for situations like this, and insisted they all go to the loo before setting off, so they were fine… Nine hours wait at some centres, apparently. Going to be chaos later in the week, but turn around time still surprisingly good at moment - had results by 5pm.
Anyway, feels like a race to get to Christmas sans symptoms or exposures. Will we make it?
