Two Tree Teal!

Grey and chilly for Winter solstice! not the greatest weather for a bit of birdwatching but I needed fresh air, so dragged mum and dad along too to Two Tree Island for a little wander.

And it was very quiet over there! It was low tide, and very still but very little about to see! Many sleepy ducks  including this Teal, along with sheldrakes, avocets, lapwings, oystercatcher and pied wagtails in the carpark!  We didn't stay long!

Rush of Christmas cards arriving in the post today - think the postie might have saved them all up for us!
