Winter Wonderland

Our Dutch friend here and I took onto the Omalos plain and make a walk over there, what we did; not onto the mountains, but just along the road there and all in all we walked some 8 or 10 kms and had a meal in the restaurant at the Samaria Gorge entrance; they opened up for these festive days of December and first week of January.  that restaurant is in the V of the mountain slopes of this picture.

Actually I got today onto the mountains you saw yesterday as backdrop in my foto from Chania. Omalos is just 41 kms away from Chania.~  and thank you lots for your reactions on yester blip!! 
Walking isn't Sweetheart's thing anymore, so he stayed home, sombering a bit, what he easily does... a Greek makes a problem, when he doesn''t has one :-)
