Staring at the Straits

We had a slow start to the day as we were all tired from the travelling yesterday. Mum made us all porridge for breakfast. We have had blue sky and sunshine all day, although it as been very cold.

This afternoon we popped to the shops to get some supplies and dad suggested calling in to see Nelson on the way home. He has a lovely spot on the Straits, looking across the water. The sun was reflecting beautifully off the water and it was actually quite sheltered where we were. We had a little walk across the shore, collecting some sea glass, before we came home and snuggled down in front of the fire.
