Tiny Tuesday: Little Angel

This lovely little angel hangs on our Christmas tree - the whole thing (as seen in the extra) is only about 7cm tall and is made mainly out of straw or raffia. I've used it for today's TT challenge but it's also the answer to my "Guess what it is" MonoMonday blip yesterday. Yesterday's mono shot was taken from behind the head to avoid giving the game away too easily! Thanks to everyone who had a go - some were excellent guesses although no-one appreciated that the lacy wings gave the hint that it's an angel.

It's time for us in the northen hemisphere to celebrate: at 3.58pm GMT today the winter solstice occurred - so our nights will be getting shorter from now on. Hurrah! (Apologies to those living south of the equator though for me mentioning this...!).
