the girls have matching new badges on their favourite hats.

It was a chilled out day today. The girls didn’t get out of their pjs. Katie refused to make a call home but then at bedtime got into a tizz. We’d planned to have story time on the phone and thankfully I had already found our special book. Within a line or two she was happier. She knows the book from heart, including visualising the images, so it worked well. We had over an hour on the phone- once she had me, she refused to hang up even though it was gone 10pm. But it did her so much good. She was clinging to the call, not wanting to let go for sleep, but she was much much happier.
