Life on the ocean wave

(Back blipped because I fell asleep last night before I downloaded pictures)

Today was the First of the Season. Now just 570 to go! Seagull Trust cruises for disabled people. I've always liked the Cruises bit. It doesn't quite sound the same as a trip on a barge up and down the Forth and Clyde Canal!

But today's group were lovely. And although it was bitterly cold, it was dry and some of them did stand out front for a bit. :-D
Dry days make for happy crew and skipper!

Today the water was so still and so reflective but I loved the shapes that were made by the waves when the bow was disturbing it. This being early in the season to take a canal boat anywhere, there was a lot of litter - which was dreadful to see - but it seems not to to be deterring the wild life. No doubt later in the season, I'll have more pictures of The Swans and The Heron and there are always Ducks to be Awwing at.
