Puffer corner

My Jura pal sent me this 'street sign' name of our favourite wee boat fictionalised in the wonderful stories of the Scottish author Neil Munro.
Puffers were 100 ton little cargo boats built narrow for canals and shallow bottomed carrying essential goods to and from the islands and sea lochs of the west coast of Scotland. Over 100 were built mainly in and around Glasgow from 1850s and still in use until 1960s.
