The abutilon

is still flowering beautifully in the greenhouse at George & Jeans. I love the detail on the petals. I did 2.5hours gardening, Jean paid me for 3. I wish she would'nt do that .. it's so naughty. Ken, the nextdoor neighbour had been around with his leaf blower on a few occasions in the past couple of weeks so my main tasks today were planting bulbs, cutting back herbaceous plants, a bit more pruning, & general tidying up. George was'nt up to chatting much today, he went for an afternoon nap, Jean came and chatted to me for a while. We exchanged Xmas cards, I gave them a bag of my preserves and wished them a merry Xmas.
