Pre-Sunrise

The Moon was still up, tho' covered with light cloud, when I reached Potternewton Lane just before  Eight this morning.  The Sun wasn't due to rise for another twenty minutes so I have  blipped a red pre-dawn sky.

I swam for a leisurely thirty minutes or so in the first lane.

Back home the squirrels (the scamps) and birds are regularly visiting the bird table and hanging feeders in our garden. The weather is dull, still and cold; the best I can say is at least it's not raining!

I am uploading early today as A & I are out to lunch this afternoon having our Holiday meal at the Mustard Pot,  I'm sure they will be more reliable than Hern who forgot to tell us they had closed.
