Winter devastation
Got home and the sun was still shining so I thought it may be a good idea to venture to the bottom of the garden (where I haven't ventured since December). I was concerned there maybe homeless people taking shelter in my shed but no worse than that! The harsh winter cold has ripped down my fence taking my huge honeysuckle with it, ripping it out from the roots. I don't think I can save it. I could cry! The boy just said 'I knew we should have cut that back' grrrr! The whole of the garden is a complete dead mess with just a few happy daffodils to cheer it up.
So for the next six months at least I will be repairing the garden! And I was hoping to be self sufficient this year - vegetable wise at least - no such look!
