Unwanted Excitement

Dd's eagle ears alerted us to robbers in our street at 4 am today.   We called the police who arrived quickly enough to arrest two of them, who had climbed up the facade of the lamp workshop two along from us.   The police had to come through our house to gain access to the rear patio where they found one of the thief's in hiding and also search our own patio.  We had to give statements and will hand in our video recordings of the whole episode.   The way the law works here, the robbers will be released and on the streets again today.

In an effort to change our luck we bought some lottery tickets for the traditional Spanish Christmas El Gordo draw.  Nothing has come up so far!
