The Case of the Disappearing Glass
This was the title of one of the chapters of Light - Science & Magic. It goes into detail on how to effectively setup lights for glass subjects. The whole book is really good, and definitely recommended for anyone wanting to learn about light.

Day consisted of gym, project work, back home to have a couple lamb steaks and then spending hours on the lighting setup for the blip. Involved a lot of trial and error.

Quite satisfied with this one to be honest and it's within the theme of my challenge, although the setup and lack of a large source of light caused a bit of texturisation (is that a word?) in the background, specially towards the bottom. I'm sure some more photoshop wizardy would have taken care of it, but not anything I know unfortunately. EDIT: Managed to clean it up a bit.
This would have been the blip before Daler, my flatmate, suggested the obvious idea of pouring a liquid into it which completely escaped my mind. So partial credit goes to him.
