After listening to Mrs G moaning that our kettle was noisy, I treated her to a new one!
This "silent" one even tells you the water temperature and comes with a guide of which drinks should be at which temperature... so this is where I've been going wrong all my life. You shouldn't put boiling water with coffee!!
