As is generally the case, I both agree and disagree with van Gogh on this. You can walk along the pavement and still enjoy the flowers that grow beside it. To be Delight is good, but it's not so cool to be Delirium. I mean, look what happened to Vincent.

Having said that, The Human League and Dean Karnazes are right; comfort kills. It is good to hit the trails regularly but The Road Not Taken is still a road nonetheless. Best not to get lost in the woods.
