Blooming Olearia

What a wonderful surprise that this evergreen shrub has popped into flower in my garden. I thought it was a spring baby, but apparently not. The flowers are tiny, size of a thumbnail at most, and what a colour! My spellcheck keeps turning “olearia’ into “O’Leary’s” so I’d better have a Guinness while I wait for my youngest son and partner to arrive for a 2 day stay. Swan Lake is on the radio, all the complex dishes are made, the lights are twinkling so it’s time to stop for an hour.
