Out for a walk

The swan family seemed to have decided to take a walk up the hill beside the pond today. The third cygnet was still stuck at the bottom beside the pond, obviously having difficulty climbing up the first part of the steep bank. It won’t be long now before the parents start chasing the youngsters away to make their own way in the world.

For today’s bit of colour my extra is a hydrangea at the house over the road, holding on to its last remnants of pink.
