Please don't feed the seagulls

I guess I am now officially on "holiday"! We had a lazy start here and went out after lunch to drop off a monitor to a friend. It was her birthday yesterday, so we dropped her present off as well.

Down to the post office after that. Yesterday, I organised for a parcel to get delivered to the post office box. The CS Rep said it would take 3-5 working days, but I received an SMS last night saying it is ready for collection! Our friend Hilde in Switzerland said she was sending us some goodies for Christmas, but it is a huge box!

As we were already dressed and out, we headed to Jumeirah Beach (after dropping the box of goodies home). We were enjoying the sea breeze when the lady sitting on her own at the adjacent table asked if she could join us. Of course! She said she was lonely and wanted people to chat with, so we chatted. I'm not sure I believe her when she says she's a local, but that's another story.

We came home to chill, and I finally got to watch The Muppet Christmas Carol. T@3 followed and later, another Zoom call with Jeff & Margaret to sort out Christmas day arrangements.

My blip is of this guy who came along with a bag in his hand and started feeing the seagulls.
